Owner Kathrin Limburg runs a stylish and urban event location on the bel étage of a classic Berlin old building on Ku’damm for workshops, events, shoots and get-togethers – Gebrüder Fritz. Her clients include international brands, successful artists, organisations and associations. Following the extensive renovation in winter 2019, styling expert Kathrin Limburg and her master painter Dörthe Krüger-Mähl came up with the idea of perfect the room design with new floors. After a visit to the SWISS KRONO factory in Heiligengrabe, Kathrin Limburg was convinced: “We have wonderful rooms at the Fritz. SWISS KRONO has an impressive range of wonderful floors. They’re a perfect match.”
The new laminate collection in herringbone look
More about Herringbone
For her library, Kathrin Limburg selected the dark, smoky Calais Oak from the KRONOTEX Herringbone collection, which comprises 9 decors. The colour of the floor perfectly emphasises the anthracite walls. For the kitchen and dining room, where award-winning chefs also spoil guests from time to time, the styling expert decided on classic, timeless decor from the Villeroy & Boch heritage collection by SWISS KRONO. Harmony Oak bathes the rooms in soft, honey-like, flattering light. “Our new herringbone floor from SWISS KRONO once again that the most important aspect of successful room design is the interplay of the right floor with the wall colour,” explains Kathrin Limburg.
The 6 large rooms of the old building, which can only be rented in their entirety, and the existing furniture are designed so flexibly that they can be adapted to any occasion. Different wall and floor colours give the rooms their distinctive character. With designer furniture that can rented, ranging from Bauhaus chairs to relaxed leather couches and table tennis tables, meetings, workdays and events can be planned and organised in style.
